The challenge
Mike Hare, co-founder of My Right To Be Private, wanted a website that would help people reclaim their privacy. He wanted no frills, just plain facts delivered in a way that would build people’s trust.
The solution
First, we had to get the right design company on the job, as we’d already gathered that Mike had strong views. We needed someone who could create a design that reflected his vision. We turned to a partner we knew could capture the essence of what a client wanted (even if the client couldn’t entirely articulate it) – tallhatDesign.
MRTBP wanted to be able to update the site themselves without any fuss; we recommended Macromedia Contribute for its ease of use and relative cheapness. For secure payment, we used Barclay’s ePDQ CPI portal. And to give MRTBP vital feedback on site usage, we brought in Urchin reporting.
The result
The site launched as planned and since then it’s attracted many visitors and, equally important, generated widespread press interest.
