User Training

Introduction

The litmus test for any IT project is how readily its users, contributors and managers accept the new application. We have a tried and tested method to make sure our projects pass that test every time.

The process

First, in the early stages of the project we use what we call our QSD or discovery process to get buy-in from the entire client team – by asking them what their needs and problems are.

Then, during development we regularly check that what we’re building is what your people need, by involving them in using and testing early iterations of the application or system.

The outcome

Finally we create a specially tailored training module for new and future users that includes online tutor sessions, CD-Roms and printed instructions in any language. You can see an example of remote training modules in the HP Indigo case study.

All this gives the final launch a far greater chance of a smooth deployment as well as boosting your team’s morale.
